Indlas Vijayawada Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences [INDLAS VIMHANS] was started 40years ago as 'Prashanti Hospital' by Dr. Indla Ramasubba Reddy. It has been treating tens of thousands of patients and families affected with mental health issues and has been a front-runner in addressing mental health issues at social, community level.
Ten years ago DNB Training programme in Psychiatry which is accredited by National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi was introduced in the hospital. It is the first psychiatric institute for DNB in Psychiatry in Andhra Pradesh.
We have a dedicated group of Doctors, Psychologists, Psychiatric Social Workers and well qualified nursing staff providing multiple services.

Director and HODThe institute is run under the able guidance of Dr. Indla Ramasubba Reddy. He did his D.P.M, M.D. at NIMHANS. He was the president of Indian Psychiatric Society and SAARC Psychiatric Federation. He is a well published author with many articles in indexed Psychiatric Journals and popular Magazines. He is the recepient of Eminent Faculty Award from NBE. He has received multiple state government awards.

DNB Programme CoordinatorDr. Vishal Indla completed M.D Psychiatry in NIMHANS. He was the best out going student of his batch and is a gold medal recipient. He is the current president Indian Pschiatric Society AP Chapter. He is a well established author. He is passionate about teaching. He is an excellent orator and also gave a TED Talk.
